Summary
Tom has over 10 years of experience as an Environmental Engineer, with a focus on waterway management, although his expertise spans various environmental disciplines. He is proficient in waterway engineering design, geomorphic assessments, and hydraulic analysis. Having completed the River Styles course, Tom integrates geomorphic analysis into his waterway management and design practices. His experience includes working on projects that assess waterway features, values, and threats, while developing management strategies that align with waterway geomorphology, project constraints and social needs.

Tom also brings a suite of technical skills in hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, GIS, and drafting, enabling him to analyse and interpret waterway systems and design effective management solutions. Throughout his career, he has contributed to numerous waterway projects across Victoria, Tasmania, Queensland, New South Wales, and Western Australia, gaining experience with a variety of waterway systems. This diverse background has enhanced his understanding of different waterway types and management frameworks. Additionally, Tom has undertaken technical reviews of major infrastructure projects on behalf waterway management authorities.
